Wow, that was brilliant. Just watching back all of edwards creepier moments puts him in a whole new perspective. I mean we dont see all those moments together in the film, theyre broken up nicely making him look normalish. Watching that, he really does look like a vampire. i dont even like buffy, and have never seen an episode of it but, the comments that they had buffy said were totally awesome! All the people who say that Edward could take Buffy are out of there minds and clearly know nothing about the Buffy legend. Buffy is not only ‘The Chosen One’, but she doesn’t just kill vamps she kills EVERYTHING evil vamps, deamons, hell hounds etc and she always won. She also totally kicked the a*se of a GOD from a hell dimension! Killing Edward would be like swatting a fly for Buffy. Edward needs to get a personality stat I would swap Spike for this over emo teenage sulk fest any day of the week.

Obviously, Buffy owns Edward in every aspect. Edward’s a pussy cat compared to the vamps she faces on a pretty much daily basis.
Also, what I really want to see is a Pyramid Head vs Edward Cullen vid, just for the hell of it.
Obviously, in that situation, Pyramid Head would win forever. You can’t kill PH, no matter how hard you try. He’s the manifestiation of punishment for sins in the land of Silent Hill. The only way to kill him is to OWN UP to your sins (like killing your wife lolJames) and admit that you came to be punished, which will cause PH to kill himself, since he is no longer needed. But Edward is way too arrogant to ever admit to doing wrong, so PH will gladly torment him for all eternity. In the butt. With the Great Knife.
Alsoalso, Edward is totally a stalker in the books. SNEAKING INTO STRANGER’S HOUSES IS A CRIME AND HE SHOULD BE ARRESTED FOR IT.

I find it rather frightening that such a large amount of girls here don’t find this creepy upon reflection. Being stalked is not romantic. It’s not. This isn’t a commentary on ‘who can beat whoooo’ it’s a commentary on how ridiculous that the idea of a man following you around and sneaking into your room and watching you sleep can be taken as romance (by this estimation, is spousal abuse and rape also a sweet romantic interlude? Hey he’s hot, right, so it’s fine? It’s some of the next steps up, frankly. Someone taking privacy and controlling your life and being horribly possessive : |).
Even if the most handsome man in the world was following me around… I would hate it. My lack of privacy from some weirdo is not hot. It’s a cowardly form of anything, not an expression of love (if you love someone, confront them).
I’m not trying to turn this into serious business, but it’s really…. frightening to think that people would actually find this behavior just fine and dandy(and attractive, eesh) even in fiction.

Okay, for anyone who said Edward could take Buffy, you’re completely wrong. While Meyer’s vampires are supposed to be REALLY strong, Buffy put up with some serious shit, and took down a really powerful vampire with only human abilities. And then when she did have powers, she took down that freaky uber-vamp thing. All she needs to do is get a little bit pissed and then whoever she’s up against is basically screwed, so, yeah, there’s no way he could take her. And I’m not just saying that because Joss is amazing. I kind of hate Buffy (as a character, love the series, though) but she’s the most powerful fictional character I’ve ever seen (no, I don’t mean powerful as in, puts across a powerful message. She just has a strength about her). I don’t think Faith could take Edward down, but I know Buffy could.
And a note on the video itself. I love it. I love not only how it highlights Edwards creepiness, but Spike’s (because oh my GOD was he weird!)

Frankly, I do not understand Edward’s appeal. I have seen the first movie, and read all 4 books, and I STILL can’t find the appeal.
His character is obsessive, controlling, manipulative, and just downright creepy. He also stalks Bella, and his personality goes up and down so often you’d swear he was bi-polar (”I love you/STAY AWAY/I love you/STAY AWAY”).
Prince Charming, he is NOT.
A little possessiveness or over-protectiveness sometimes can be sweet. Obsessively sneaking into a girl’s bedroom almost every night to watch her as she sleeps, knowing your control could snap at any moment and kill her… is not.
I could go on, and on (about Bella, as much as Edward), but it’s all been said countless times already by other people, and I don’t feel like writing yet another book about how horrible Stephanie Meyers’ characters are.
I will simply end with:
Hearing girls idolizing Edward and aspiring to find a boyfriend just like him disturbs me. The “real life” Edwards are in jail for obsessing with and eventually raping/killing their girlfriends/wives/stalking victims. Maybe you should aspire to find a better kind of boyfriend.

I’m personally of the opinion that Buffy could kick Edward’s ass in a New York minute. But ultimately, that’s not the point. Debating who would win in a Buffy-vs.-Edward fight makes about as much sense as arguing about who would win if a Star Destroyer faced down the U.S.S. Enterprise. Different fictional universes, different rules.
The real point to this video is not to fannishly say “Well, Buffy could kick Edward’s ass,” but rather to point out what radically different messages the two franchises send to young women (and men).
Buffy’s message was “You can be strong, independent and powerful without needing to sacrifice your humanity. By sharing your power and working together, you can take on anything that comes your way.”
Twilight’s message is “Hey, girls! If a guy creeps into your bedroom to watch you sleep, it means he loves you! Hey, boys! It’s OK to be a stalker … in fact, girls think it’s a real turn-on!”
