it was cool how she talked about book adaptations on screen. I guess no one understands the word “BASED” as in “based on the novel by Stephenie Meyer”. Movies will never ever ever be exactly like the book, and people need to except that.

Ha, I like her. She’s funny. And I agree with her point about the movie adaptations. Watching a movie isn’t like reading a book. They add and change things because it makes it more visually interesting.
And just another opinion about the question she acknowledged about the special effects dots. The person asked why they would make Edward sparkle if he didn’t actually step out into the sun in the book. My opinion on that would be that it would make more sense for people that haven’t read the books, in other words, people living under rocks. It might make more sense to them that he gets in trouble for actually doing something wrong instead of almost doing it. That way the screenwriter and director don’t have to spend loads of time explaining exactly why the Volturi are mad. Just my opinion.

That’s a good theory alyssa..But also if we notice in the pictures of that scene the sunlight hits him SLIGHTLY, so he may need to sparkle just a bit, to heighten the factor of danger, then have him slammed back into the darkness, to keep Non-twilighters in the know as well as add more danger and excitment for fans of the series already…:D

about the whole sparkling thing, since i would think that the volturi would be pretty angry if he did actually step into the sun maybe the part where he actually does sparkle will be like a part of Alice’s vision of him stepping into the sun and we’ll get to see that in the movie.. cuz if people saw him sparkle the volturi would probably kill him… i dunno. just an idea to consider

but i agree with her webcast. people question everything without trying to understand the politics within the entertainment buisness. that’s just my opinion. i really think this movie will be awesome whether eddie sparkles in the light or not.

Also guys come on now … UGH !! Seriously, has no one connected the dots (excuse the pun) ?!?! They flimed Alice’s vison !! As in: in NM Alice tells Bella that she sees Edward’s plan to step into the sunlight, while she explains the what exactly will be the product of that action. They prob. thought that was the best way to explain the danger and the entire sceen. So the explanation for the dots is : Edward sparkles in Alice’s vison of the future, so that is the point of filming Rob with the dots for the CGI people.
*sigh*
I have noticed that Twilighters are prone to over-reaction. : P

But I don’t care what they do, because it’s going to be amazing. If they make him sparkle, that’ll just highten the excitement!

Most likely, here’s what i’m ‘predicting’.
They filmed a scene with Edward actually stepping into the sunlight and sparkling for Alice’s vision.then they filmed the actual scene with bella running into him. If you notice in some of the BTS footage of the italy scene, when bella runs into him edward has not actually stepped into the sun. This is so, when watching the movie, you see the same vision alice saw, but now u see bella trying to save him.
Just my thoughts.

Wow, i really like her, she’s super funny, and totally enjoyable to watch, cant wait for her nxt web cast, and i definitely agree with what she said about book adaptations, the movie will always be a bit different, but its all for the best, add ppl should really stop judging so hard on something that hasnt really been seen yet, i personally believe its going to be absolutely amazing, and the more the merrier….btw, danielle your awesome

i think everyone is dogging the movie already because we are afraid. we saw how catherine took so many liberties with our favorite scenes… the meadow!?… and now we are scared chris is going to do the same with new moon. esp with he completely changes something… that isnt the new moon we all want… its not even new moon.

i understand they cant make it excatly like the book, but it would be nice, like they switched a lot of things and left out a lot of things in twilight, so i hope in NM, and other series that they stay remotely close to the book

I like her a lot! She kinda looks like Alice! I like how she said that it is the directors adaptation of the book! That is exactly the way it is. I doesn’t have to be exactly like the book for us Twilighters to love it, and Chris knows that that is why he changes it up a little! (but just a little)

i have the same thoughts, all the bookie twilighters who hate the movies are totally pessimistic and they don’t even want movies made because it’s not THEIR interpretation of the books. they need to just suck it up and realize that they can’t get what they want 24/7 the movie producer and Chris Weiz can’t make everyone happy, they are doing what they think is a good interpertation and they are trying to stick to the book. , if they don’t like it, then they should just stop whining about it and why it’s not right. To all you people who hated the twilight movie and don’t like how New moon is going- boo hoo, no one freaking cares what you stupid people who don’t have anything nice to say about the twilight movies, say at all. Build a bridge and get over the fact that the directors don’t give a flying hoot about one little person says about the movie. Moral of this rant If you don’ have anything nice to say about twilight, don’t saying on here.

there were so many posts i didn’t feel like reading them all so someone may have already said this, but if you look at the pictures all the spectators are looking somewhere else - away from the sparkling edward. makes it more dramatic to have the danger of him being spotted and sparkling and all.
i don’t think it’s a big deal. won’t change anything about the movie! it’ll still be great :]
