Twilight Dance On ‘So You Think You Can Dance’
Last night on the reality dance competition “So You Think You Can Dance”, a couple performed to the song Eyes On Fire by Blue Foundation from the Twilight Soundtrack! The dance had a very vampirish theme and it was performed AMAZINGLY! xD

I didn’t know how I would like it but I actually really did. That was cool, and they used one of my fave songs on the soundtrack.

This is a reply to jeez:
1. I’m not sure if you noticed, but when Nigel said “Twilight,” the COREOGRAPHER jumped up and said “YES!”
2. The dance was supposed to be “vampire-esk”
3. A song FROM the movie soundtrack was used.
It’s pretty clear that this dance was absolutely related to Twilight. Sorry if you don’t see that.
Anyways……
When I watched the intro to the dance and Kipono said it would be a vampire-sort of dance, I became quickly intrigued, and could see the Edward-Bella relationship in some of the moves they were practicing…and I thought I was being a little silly, showing signs of my obsessive cullen disorder. But then! When the song started, I cheered at the tv! hahahahaha

Omg…from the moment she said the theme last night on the show….i instantly thought of twilight! And then when they danced and the music started….i screamed. It was one of my favorite songs from the soundtrack….and im glad nigel caught on and knew it was from twilight too!. They did absolutely amazing!

Evalynda- I did the same exact thing. My sister and I kept joking about it before the dance started, and when ‘Eyes on Fire’ was actually used, we both screamed. What can I say? It’s a twi-hard instinct!

I LOVED IT!! When the song played I totally freaked out! And then when Sonya (choreographer) jumped up when Nigel said twilight!!! AWESOME!

I love the sing and when I saw them dancing to it I was like was like wait a second….lol. I think they did do a vampire like theme with it.

That is now my favorite dance on sytycd.
When she said a vampire dance i instantly thought about twilight=) i was thinking they should do eyes on fire and the next thing you know they were dancing to that song! its official im psychic haha just kidding

Oh my gosh! Been in love with so you think you can dance from the first season. Sonya is definitely one of my favorite choreographers on the show. And that just made me love her even more!

I watched this when it was on!
It was amazing! Kayla and Kupono are 2 of my favourite dancers!
And The choreographer, Sonya Tayeh, did an amazing job. She’s obviously a Twilight fan too!!
This dance brought my 2 favourite things together!

being a dancer as well as a die hrad twi-hard, i appriciate both the movements of the choreography from sonya (love her!) and her inspiration. both kayla and kypono danced EXTREMELY well and took on the character. and i feel better now that i know i wasnt the only one screamind at the tv! =D

You can tell they totally got the idea from Twilight, lol. Just stating the obvious.
I thought the dance was really interesting and I absolutely love, love, love Eyes On Fire but I don’t think it exactly went together, tempo wise. I think their dance was a little more violent than sensual (which is what I think the song is like). But it was a great performance anyway.
And I love that they said “Twilight!” *Applause.*

KUPONO is amazing. I rep Hawai’i so i’m always gonna cheer for him. and it just so happens that he got Sonya, who choreographed a dance with a song from the Twilight Soundtrack. So awesome a hawaiian boy dancing to Twilight. three of my favorite things. ahha. yeah that’s all.
