Also, the Twilight Lexicon has a little word of advice for you people who are following “Rob,” “Taylor,” or “Kristen” on twitter. They said it better than I could. ;D
Also, despite some Twilight stars (yep stars get fooled too) following a Taylor Lautner and a fake Rob account. It isn’t real. The fake Taylor account is chatting with a fake Dan Radcliffe account about their plans to see the next Harry Potter movie together.
Taylor is high profile enough (as are Rob, and Kristen) that any account that any of them had would be verified by Twitter in mere days of creation (Ashley Greene’s account took 3 days.) Plus, if their accounts were real, Mr. Twitter god himself-Peter Facinelli- would have mentioned it since he knows the three of them rather well.

I mean so WHAT if people like to pretend to be ROB KRISTAN AND TAYLOR. taylor is not the bad guy btw…he does acknowledge that he does it for the fans. Where as rob is just a fuc*in prick and kristan much the same.

Infamous_redeamer: As a request, can you NOT write in caps? It’s statistically proven to be irritating and a sure sign of stupidity and lack of class.
First off, before I launch with my feedback (this is a forum, and I’m entitled to give my opinion), let me just state that you have no right claiming that we’re “wrong and blind,” as if only YOUR opinions matter…as if YOU’RE superior to everyone else. Get off your high-horse.
Claiming that Rob and Kristen don’t care about fans is a common assumption. It’s obvious that their stardom is a discomfort to them. However, you have to know that the degree of fame they receive is at an abnormally high level! Kristen gets cursed-out by fans who don’t like her simply because she’s associated with Rob. At autograph signings, she basically get the stink eye from crazy-obsessed-Rob lovers. It was revealed in an interview. She is not as loved as you think.
Even Rob has a reason to be uncomfortable. He gets jumped at by random fan girls (there were paparazzi photos of that). He even got clipped by a taxi cab once because a mob of fans cornered him on the streets. If he doesn’t stop to give a large group of fans an autograph, it’s not because he’s a snob. It’s because of safety reasons. You have to understand that having 99.9% of their privacy stripped from them is a big deal. Yes, they signed up for the job to act, but they weren’t expecting Twilight to become the phenomenon that it is. Being a well-respected and loved movie star is a far cry from what they truly are. The way people treat them is anything but “respected.” They’re giving fans what fans deserve…the best performance they can give. They don’t have to get twitter (I hate twitter too, so why can’t they?). They don’t have to reveal every singly private detail of their life on magazines. If anything you’re asking too much of them. It’s selfish to be doing so. Just because they’re stars doesn’t mean we have the right to be demanding.
Honestly, though, despite Rob and Kristen’s discomforts, they’re handling their stardom with a lot of grace–something even their cast members constantly state is their most admirable trait. Rob and Kristen just aren’t the type of people who are comfy with ridiculous and obsessive attention, and the fact that they’re sucking it up and keeping true to their MODEST personalities, despite their overnight stardom, is truly admirable.
Seriously, Infamous_redeamer, what are you doing bashing Twilight stars AND fans on a Twilight site? We are not blind to anything. We have opinions you don’t agree with. The fact that you can’t help but be rude to something you don’t understand completely close-minded on your part. I know you’re entitled to your opinions, but this is the second argumentative comment I’ve seen from you. The freedom of speech doesn’t give you the excuse to be a jerk.
It’s a tad bit pathetic when you have too much time to be spreading so much negative energy; especially when you could be doing something so much more productive. Instead of showing your distaste for something, why not do something you actually like. I mean really, you question why we waste time obsessing over someone not into what they do? Why are YOU wasting time on something you don’t like? You’re just as big of a hypocrite.

I don’t know why, but I found that humorous. There are a lot of people who impersonate stars on social networks, like MySpace and Facebook, and they’ll even roleplay. It’s very interesting who they converse with. :]
