Pretty sure I just scared the shit out of my 4 best friends from my scream when I saw this! It look soooo amazing! Eclipse is my favorite book, i seriously cant wait for this movie!!! 250 Days!!!

Haha, I think it’s supposed to be a fire/ice element, at least. “Eclipse” looks slightly frozen, and there’s a few hints of red.

I’ve never doubted David Slade. From looking at his Twitter submissions, he seems like an incredibly artistic director. Hard Candy was an excellent movie.

It’s one of my favorite movies. It was an excellent concept, and I didn’t find it unrealistic at all. Then again, I don’t think that it was attempting to be ultra-realistic.
30 Days of Night is another film that David Slade did. Great atmosphere.

If you look very closely on the ”p” you can see a moon rising! I dont know how to describe it but i can say that the ”p” and the moon create an Eclipse!!!

personally my first thought about the “p” is that it looks alittel bit like an ax…..with some blood on it…I thought that maybe couse of the fight they tried to make it look sharp and bloody…

I love it! And it looks all cold and ice like, which makes me think of snow and the tent scene. And i like hint of red.
OME! Today I saw Edward’s Volvo, just sitting in a car park! (the model used in the film, C30)FIRST TIME FOR ME!
I got so excited! It was silver and everything. ahaha, i actually took photos of it! So glad no one was around that would have been awkward. Ahhh, best day ever &hearts:

That object behind the P is depicting a celestial object (moon) as in an eclipse when the moon is blocked out or when the sun is blocked out depending on the type. It makes complete sense and I believe is a brilliant way to illustrate Eclipse.

i love how the P looks like an eclispe in itself. but i think they need a little more red. every movie so far has had its own color theme: twilight was a silvery blue, new moon is brown, so i think eclpise needs to be more distinct and red!!! but other then that, LOVE IT!

If you put ‘Eclipse diamond ring’ into a google image search you will see the exact same effect that is on the ‘P’. I saw the total Eclipse in England a few years ago, it was amazing, the diamond ring part being my favourite moment. The orb behind the ‘P’ is the sun (aka Jacob), who is Bella’s sun, and Edward is blocking him out.
Im so excited for New Moon to come out already though, its not coming fast enough!!!

Hey, why his eyes are so golden? He should be thirsty and I can se dark circles under his eyes, but they’re not black eyes!!! WTH? I love black eyes!! I love golden eyes either, but here they should be black…
Well it’s a good thing that he heels soooo fast

YEP… great LOGO, as a graphic designer I think its a little to obvious but it really acomplishes the idea of the book.
Anyways its nice to have the eclipse logo when new moon hasnt been shown yet

You can tell the Red and silver stand for the “fire and ice” element. Its also a chapter in the book. The “p” also has an eclipse happening on the edge. Thats what the so called white thing is on the edge.

can’t wait for the movie.

i guess i can kinda see where the whole double-color/white blob is coming from, but i personally don’t like the double-coloring. it looks too random. i wish it was one solid color. or rather, if the red tint was spread homogeneously.

Fire and Ice, did NOT think of that, nice thinking!
I actually predicted it was going to be red, but I like how the red is around the edges of the silver, it really does make it pop! The dangerousness lingering around everything is awesome.
So… what is breaking dawn going to be since I thought Eclipse was Red and Breaking Dawn was Silver/White… I’m interested to see.
Possibly Green, representing new life?
But, anyway, love the title art, looks fantastic!

Ugh I’m A BIT disapointed, there promo pictures better rock! The reds cool but there should be more of it as it is. Not bad. I liked the New Moon logo much more though. This one is quite plain, I almost wish it was a dud.

But you shouldn’t have to research to figure out what’s going on with the P. They should’ve made it more recognizable. The white blob should look, well, not like a blob. It just looks like a blob of snow, not light.

it looks good but not great…too simple should have used a little more red like a redish shadow look but at least it wasnt one solid color…i have to say i like new moon’s logo better…anyway it looks good i hope the promo pics dont disapoint…now if only we could see the movie too
