some songs were ok…some I didnt like but maybe if I heard the whole song I’d like it… but this one will definatly not beat the Twilight soundtrack that one rocked!!!

I can’t wait till the soundtrack comes out! All of the songs sound really awesome!! I love the Muse song, and the New Moon song sounds really really good. I can’t wait till I can hear the rest of it

I’m not sure whether I like any of the songs yet, besides Death Cab for Cuties and Muse’s.
I do know that I loved the 30 seconds of the Meadow melody. I think it is really good and it raised goose bumps on my skin (which is a very good sign).
But the others, ehh.. not so much really. Maybe it’s because they’re all new songs and you have to hear the full length before you’ll know for sure whether you like them or not.

wow its really different from Twilight but I like it.
It goes with new moon it has the feel to it more wolves folk type of music I like it over all. Alot of slow songs I think just represents sadness and emptiness….

I can definitely see a theme in the songs. There’s all the sadness in them, a lot of folk music also, and is it just me, or does it sound like a “heart beating” in a lot of them too? Perhaps to symbolise Bella’s broken heart?

I already LOVE the Grizzly Bears song and I haven’t even heard all of it.. lol
I really like what I heard so far..
I think everyone should give it a chance. I remember when the songs for the Twilight soundtrack were announced people said the same. A lot of people didn’t like it and then after the movie came out everyone was in love with it.
I bet the same thing is gonna happen with NM. Once the movie comes out and you can put the songs with certain scenes you’re gonna love it:D

and the last song for the meadow is a good choice to match her being there.

Did anyone else absolutely love the New Moon [The meadow] song? It made me want to cry.
I liked most of the songs. There were a few I didn’t really care for but I have an eclectic taste in music so I kind of liked all of it. Especially I Belong To You, Satellite Heart, and the meadow song. So yeah, I’m glad I bought it. And give it a chance people. Didn’t everyone think the Twilight soundtrack was weird? And didn’t most of you end up loving it? Hm? =)

yeah. i agree. besides, it’s hard to tell if you’re gonna like a song after hearing only 30 seconds of it. plus, a soundtrack usually improves after you’ve seen the movie, and all i have to say is that people need to broaden their horizons

IF YOU DON’T LIKE THE SONGS JUST WAIT UNTIL YOU HEAR THEM IN THE MOVIE AND MAYBE YOU WILL GET TO LIKE THEM!
LETS NOT BASH THE ARTISTS WHO WERE PICKED….OBVIOUSLY THEY ARE REALLY GOOD OTHER WISE THEY WOULDN’T OF BEEN PICKED OUT OF THOUSANDS OF OTHER ARTISTS OR BANDS WHO WANTED TO GET THEIR SONG ON THE ALBUM! LETS JUST GIVE THE SONGS A CHANCE =]

This soundtrack is bloody brilliant! I love the meadow song.

I think the songs (from what I’ve heard) sound beautiful and fit the mood of New Moon. I can’t wait to see what scenes they’ll be used in!
My absolute favorites? Shooting The Moon, Meet Me On The Equinox, I Belong To You, Friends, and Monsters.

I got a bit of taste of the new soundtrack. ‘Cant say I like it yet except for the Meadow song. The rest are just a blah to me right now. My friend who is not a twilighter thinks it was horrible when we were both listening to it. She said it is irritating to the ears! lol Dunno ’bout that but I’ll buy it anyway as a part of my Twilight saga collection.

This is sad. I definetly don’t like these songs near as much as Twilight Soundtrack. They all are the same and there isn’t much variety. LItterally they all sound the same. And I don’t like what I am hearing.
I DID however love the Satellite Heart song and The Meadow song. Which seams to be the consences. So they did good with at least those two.
hopefully when it comes out in the movie I will love it.
With Twilight I already loved the songs and then was amazed at where they put them. So… we’ll see

I loved the Twilight soundtrack (with the exception of a few songs)! I am really disappointed at the moment…I disliked more songs than I liked! I loved the snipit of the Muse song though!
