One time, I saw really rude comments on her under something that had to do w/her on twilightsource.com Quite a bit of the people in the comments section were saying negative stuff about her. I saw very pessimistic comments like “the day she wins an Oscar is when I’ll stop watching it.” A really ridiculous one was someone saying that the only character she could play well in a movie is one that is smoking or doing drugs- something along those lines. I also heard a few people mentioning that she plays herself in her films.

Also, what confuses me is that whenever someone says they don’t like one of the cast members–just don’t think they are that funny or cute or whatever–everyone always responds, “Oh, well, you’re just jealous,” or “You’re just insecure,” etc. etc. etc. Just because you don’t like someone and you state your own opinion does not mean that you’re jealous. Like, if you knew a girl who you KNEW for a FACT that she slept with every boy she met, you’d call her a slut, right? (there are probly a couple others you’d use as well.) Well, it’s the same thing. HOWEVER, if you’re just straight-out bashing, then..i really don’t care. Tear them apart, for all i care. But you can still be a fan, and like the series, like the books, without having to be in love with all the cast members. You don’t even have to like Stephenie, and you could still be a fan. Everyone has their own opinion. If it doesn’t agree with your, chill, say respectfully that you disagree, and leave it at that. No need to flip out on each other….Yeesh.
