Am I the only one who doesn’t recognize Hayley with that blond long hair anymore?

I really hated the show last night. It was so annoying. I used to love Paramore until I heard Haley a couple of month ago sounding really ungrateful about how much Twilight helped her band. Anyway..the show sucked, Kat von D was a terrible host and it was obvious that they were just trying to get people to watch the show by saying”we promise the clip is coming up soon”..It was lame and none of the perfomers did that great. I think MTV is trying to boost their ratings by jumping on the Twilight bandwagon.

You know, Kellan makes this movie what it is. Everyone else might see it as Rob or Taylor, but seriously Kellan as Emmett is just amazing! Emmett was always my favorite in the books and Kellan really brings him to life! I will always be Team Emmett!

the show wasn’t exactly what i thought it was going to be. while i love kat von d, she was awkward, and the clip we saw wasn’t anything special. mtv wanted money was all.

as for paramore, i was annoyed. i thought they were great (hayley’s hair is old news, by the way… i think it looks horrible. she’s too pale for blonde hair). what sucks is OF COURSE they had to show ignorance and decode. they played a whole freakin’ set list, basically, with newer and better songs! they also started off with this amazing intro before ignorance they’ve been doing… it’s epic. of course mtv cut that out.

first of all, it’s not “her band.” secondly, she NEVER said that. all she’s shown is gratitude. where did you hear that from? i’ve been keeping up with them for about four years; i never read anything like that. if you’re talking about how they didn’t want to do new moon, it was because they wanted to give other bands a chance (with their fame from the soundtrack). they didn’t want to be known as the band from twilight.

i freakin love kellan!!! oh my heck i was laughing so hard, love his voice<3 and paramore sucked and the host was terrible and the other dude who sang sucked. this is really scary im loveing kellan a lot now but i still love taylor more, i will always love taylor more but kellan is right after him!!!!!

Okay, people are saying that Paramore sucked, basically. All I’ve got to say is what the heck? Seriously, Paramore were awesome (as were the other performers). They played more songs than were shown (I’m currently hating MTV for not showing them >.<)

PS: Kellan is so funny. xD The voices made me laugh so hard.

I agree with Elena. The show really sucked and I have gotten the feeling from other interviews that Paramore is ungrateful.

Everyone saying how ungrateful Paramore is, sthu. I find it hilarious that you all ignore the wonderful interviews where they say how lucky and grateful they are to have such a wonderful band, that they love the fans for heping them be where they are today, and for always being there for them. And you guys just make dtupid conclusions from the few other interviews? Come on. Grow up. Maybe they needed to get away from Twilight for awhile.

Um…the clip was epic, but slightly odd. Kristen seemed a bit detached or something, I think. I dunno. I’m not a movie critic but that’s what I’m getting. I love it when Alice takes the pic and Edward is sort of pressing his nose into Bella’s hair, so, yeah. Can’t wait for New Moon!

I haven’t seen and “ungreatful” Paramore videos. I’ve been a Paramore fan for a few years and they’ve always been humble. They were excited to be apart of Twilight last year, so what are u people talking about? shut up.

Kristen was supposed to be slightly detached, I think. Bella detests turning a year older, and an elaborate birthday party was something that Bella was strongly against. Otherwise, Kristen did an excellent job of showing how Bella felt in a birthday party thrown by a vampire family.

I don’t know what to say about paramore. I love them, and I quite liked how they played the songs. BTW I’ve never seen this ‘ungrateful’ interviews. And I don’t care about hayley’s hair. The clip was wonderful, and I really loved it. When Alice says ”Show me some love” and Edward kind of puts his nose in her hair..soo cute!! And I love how they acted. I mean if you’ve read the book (and I know whoever is reading this have) you know how bella’s detached…she’s 18 and the love of her life is an year younger! And she didn’t want a party, and presents, and a cake, and the photos…she just wanted to be a vampire. And she can’t. But she’s trying to hide this (she isn’t a great actress) and at the same time she attempting to show some happiness. Kristen did an incredible job!

LOL Nikki looks strangely turned on by Kellan’s creepy old lady immitation. LOL. Love you Kellan! hillaryous. I didnt get to watch it last night, curse power outages. But I agree with Elena in saying that MTV has just been trying to make more money by jumping on that Twilight Bandwagon, it annoys the crap out of me. XD

Having met Paramore at their stints on Warped Tour (one year when they played on a tiny stage, and another when they attracted enormous crowds), as well as just this past year, in May, they are incredibly sweet and down to Earth. All that aside, they continue to play Decode at every live show (at least after they wrote it and got it out there, and on their whole tour with No Doubt), so they are proud of that song, and of the success that they gained (they were already a HUGE band, as seen by the crowds at their performances at the 2007 Warped Tour) as a result of being a part of Twilight. They just don’t want to be known as a soundtrack band and apparently they turned down Transformers 2 and another movie as well. Not only that, their new album JUST came out almost exactly a month ago, they’re already on tour with 2 other bands, and they were stressed out enough while writing the new record, around the same time they would’ve written a new song for NM had they been involved. So they’re plenty busy anyways, and have been all year long.

As for her hair, chill out. Knowing Hayley, she will change it again eventually, seeing as how in 3 years or so, she’s changed her hair style and color about a million different ways.

I agree with Molly. Paramore has been incredibly grateful, but they have had a lot to do this year, so they declined another opportunity to appear on the next soundtrack. If they weren’t grateful for their slot on the Twilight soundtrack, I highly doubt that they would continue playing their original song for the movie on certain tours.

Hayley has made her love for Twilight quite clear. She’s so lovely.

As far as MTV is concerned, I enjoyed all of the music and New Moon exclusives. They may be jumping on the bandwagon, but MTV (including Larry) has been supporting Twilight for a long time. Besides, it’s a great way to promote the movie.

Ohh, how much I have missed this site and you all! anway, I agree I had been waiting all friday to watch the show and it was terrible. The host got on my last nerves btw. Team Emmett! He is soo awesome. Kellan does a great job of portrayin Emmett. I hope in the latter movies they add more funny lines for Emmett because I love his sense of humor! Me too, I want him as a friend or older brother:)
Loved Alice, Ashley, Brava! In the clip she acted just the way I imagined in the party scene when I was reading the book. And OMG I LOVED WHEN ALICE SAID “SHOW ME SOME LOVE” AND EDWARD PUT HIS NOES ON BELLA’S HAIR AND THAT CUTE CROOOKED SMILED. I ALMOST MELTED AWAY SEEEING THAT. So adorable!
With the issue with parramore. Haley is a sweetheart and loves Twilight and Rob but I am sure the band just wants to get away from Twilight for a while. They want to be labeled forever as the “Twilight Band.”

One more thing…did anyone watch the Halloweeen episode of Tyra Banks. I know this is off topic but there was a woman and a man claiming they were real vampires. One could see the future. I was like oooookkkkayyy! Who saw it????

I’ve seen the New Moon trailer twice on TV. Has anyone else seen it? I can’t remember if they were the same, I forget the first one. But the second was the TV spot with the Edward/Jacob fight.
