RS Magazine Review: New Moon OST

Rolling Stone Magazine has a pretty neat review of the NM OST. First time I ever agree completely:

The genius of the Twilight saga is the way it celebrates the passion of the all-American fang hag, with Robert Pattinson as the perfect plasma-slurping pinup boy: He’s hot, he’s sexy, and he’s undead. So New Moon is a movie soundtrack, but it’s also a concept album about the bond between teenage girls and their imaginary bloodsucker boyfriends.

The comparison to Pretty in Pink is pretty epic, in my opinion. Just sayin’

    Great review !

It was a great soundtrack. I can’t wait to see how some of the tracks fit into the film.

Well, for the people who have seen the break up scene, we know one song that is in the film and where.
Yeah, did anyone else see that? The leaked break up scene on YouTube?

  4. Matt Says:

Yep. I actually think that the song fits very well. It starts out slightly cheerful, but then becomes more muted.

Great review. I was so upset reading the iTunes reviews people were writing, I wrote my first review because people weren’t even making legitimate complaints, I understand people have their own ears, but they’re were just alot of unnecessary complaints. Perfect review, this cd is amazing.
