Aww I love him too After reading the Twilight Saga’s, I started the Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood books. I’m only into the second book, to me it’s taking a little more time to get into it but maybe I just need to read all of them, then go from there

Very interesting interview. I think he has valid points about Twilight, but I can’t say I completely agree with his opinion of Edward. Yes, Edward is chivalrous, kind and loving, but he is also over-protective, domineering, and holds Bella to double standards. Furthermore, I can’t say I completely agree with the whole chastity idea. Yes, Bella and Edward waited until they were married, but they got to the point in rushed circumstances, and for Bella, it was initially for the wrong reasons. That’s my two cents.

Def. Team Eric here, but Stephen is a total sweetheart and is a very good Bill! Can’t wait for the return of True Blood.

i was really anoyed

Stephen had some good points about Twilight, but Im guessing he doesnt know too much about the other books, and how much darker and how often the topic of Sex comes up. Theres so much sexual tension between Edward and Bella that the film didnt really pick up on, as they’ve aimed the films at a younger audience. Which is a bit sad, for me the films dont do the books justice at all, its annoying because people out there do think its just a sweet love story for tweens.

So Im glad True Blood is there, It gives you that dose of maturity (sometimes a little more than necessary) but I guess they just haven’t sugar coated it.

I liked this interview, he’s a nice guy. I don’t think he’s ever insulted RP, he just made some jokes about the characters. Reporters are always asking him about Twilight, so I don’t blame him. He said to one that he’d like to jam with RP, because they both play guitar.
