Taylor Lautner In November Issue of GQ
Rob appeared in GQ months ago and now Taylor will be appearing in the November 2009 issue!
Chances are you never saw Twilight, because chances are you’re not a 15-year-old girl (or her mom). But here’s the thing about the blockbuster and its sequel, New Moon—and for that matter, all the yet-to-come films in the teen-vampire series: They feature Taylor Lautner, a 17-year-old kid who is one of the luckiest actors in Hollywood. Two years ago, he was an unknown with credits in flicks like Cheaper by the Dozen 2. But then he landed a small part in Twilight, a movie based on a book he’d never heard of. He had four scenes, a few lines in each, and looked like a scrawny kid in a big movie. Then something happened that Lautner didn’t see coming. He nearly lost his job. The studio didn’t believe he had the stones (or the bulk) to play a convincing boy-turned-werewolf-turned-romantic-lead in the sequel. “They needed to understand he had that aggression,” says director Chris Weitz (who, by the way, made a film you did see, About a Boy). So Lautner hit the gym, hard, eating every two hours, packing on thirty pounds. “I tried to stay focused on the things I could control,” he says. Well done. Lautner kept his job, and the film’s entire marketing campaign was built around his new abs. “When a man transforms into a wolf,” Lautner clarifies, “all of his clothes get shredded. When he comes back to human form, he’s wearing ripped jeans, and that’s about it. It’s the way it was written. The great thing about this series is we stay true to the books.” Ah, to be 17.

everyone has their own opinions about who they find attractive….like I know many girls who don’t see anything remotely good looking in Robert…I think it’s ridiculous because I love him but they just don’t see it….same with Taylor….to each their own! Maybe it’s his face. It looks super-scrunched in this shot. Or maybe it’s the angle. It makes his large forearms look puny. Or maybe it’s his nipples! The fact that he’s covering them gives the illusion that he doesn’t have any at all. Haha! XD Whatever…I prefer those motorcycle-at-the-beach shots of him. They were amazing.
Anyway, in terms of comments…
Everyone has the right to an opinion, but when it comes to negative opinions, I definitely think people should have the consideration to keep it to themselves (I’m a hypocrite, but I try). Got something mean to say about Taylor? Wanna express how much you think Rob needs a shower? Well then “shut yo mouth, bi-atch!” Haha (no, I’m not directing that quote to anyone specific)! Either that, or HGE needs to install one of those “thumbs down” flaggers. Just because he doesnt have gigantic pecs like Taylor doesnt mean he isnt hot. I think he is beautiful. A lot of you fans didnt like Taylor untill he bulked up. What does that say about you? Can’t we all just rejoice that we have a VARIETY of good-looking men on the set of Twilight that appeal to a VARIETY of women (er…girls). I mean, you’ve got to admit. Whether you dislike Rob or Taylor (or even Kellan, Peter, Jackson, Alex, etc), all of them are waaaay better looking than a majority of people in the world. I can’t count the number of times I’ve come across an ugly girl who complains how horrible she thinks Rob looks, or how a fat guy puts Taylor down by calling him a bragger. The irony is hilarious! XD
Aaanyway, I just clicked the link to these photos of Taylor, and I have to admit that although I don’t like the abs-bearing photo (for some strange reason), I like the one where he’s in blue. Idk…I like it when he poses with his head tilting down, like he does for the New Moon poster.
