I also love the Fire and Ice chapter in Eclipse. Eclipse is my FAVORITE book by far.

I love the part in Eclipse where Edward and Bella are in her room. Bella is emailing her mom, and she turns around and Edward is holding the stereo she ripped out of her car in New Moon. That little scene always makes me laugh, which is funny because Eclipse is my least favorite book out of the saga. I have a million more favorite parts, but that’s the only one I can think of right now.

You could run from someone you feared, you could try to fight someone you hated. All my reactions were geared toward those kinds of killers – the monsters, the enemies. When you loved the one who was killing you, it left you no options. How could you run, how could you fight, when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your life was all you had to give your beloved, how could you not give it? If it was someone you truly loved?

I also like the scene from Eclipse (pg. 356)when Alice is trying to outsmart Edward so Bella can enjoy graduation. It begins with Bella speaking:

Apart from ALL the Edward/Bella scenes<3 I have two favorites and they’re both from Eclipse which is hands down, my favorite book.

Eclipse Chapter 27 NEEDS - “Hand me that book, will you Edward?” (Withering Heights) I read the lines “IF ALL ELSE PERISHED, AND HE REMAINED, I SHOULD STILL CONTINUE TO BE; AND IF ALL ELSE REMAINED, AND HE WERE ANNIHILATED, THE UNIVERSE WOULD TURN TO A MIGHT STRANGER.” I know exactly what she means. AND I KNOW WHO I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT.”

He didn’t need the book. He pulled me closer and whispered in my ear, “I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT MY LIFE! I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT MY SOUL!” “YES,” I said quietly, “THAT’S MY POINT.”

And of course when they go to the MEADOW and they get all heated and engaged HE ONCE AGAIN SLID MY RING INTO PLACE ON THE THIRD FINGER OF MY LEFT HAND. WHERE IT WOULD STAY CONCEIVABLY FOR THE REST OF ETERNITY.

BREAKING DAWN - chapter 24 - I couldn’t get close enough to him fast enough. I could appreciate him now, He was all new, a different person as our bodies tangled gracefully into one on the said pale floor. No caution, no restraint. No fear especially not that. We could love TOGETHER both active participants. He had the most beautiful, perfect body in the world and I had him all to myself, and it didn’t feel like I was ever going to find a point where I would think, NOW I’VE HAD ENOUGH FOR ONE DAY. 1 – Eclipse) I like the part when they visit Rene and her take on their relationship - “There’s something… strange about the way you two are together. The way he watches you — it’s so… protective. Like he’s about to throw himself in front of a bullet to save you or something…The way you move — you orient yourself around him without even thinking about it. When he moves, even a little bit, you adjust your position at the same time. Like magnets… or gravity. You’re like a… satellite, or something.”

2) Ditto on all the Midnight Sun quotes so far. What an exciting revelation reading it was. There were so many sweet, almost behind-the-scenes moments I had no idea of…

i love this discussion! i’ve actually read through all of these, hehe. here are some that weren’t mentioned (i don’t think)

ok these were all funny but all the good emotional ones have already been said so i thought i’d do some fun ones(:

Silently, I lifted my doggy bowl off the floor. Then, with a quick, powerful flip of my wrist, I threw it into the back of Blondie’s head so hard that—with an earsplitting bang—it smashed flat before it ricocheted across the room and snapped the round top piece off the thick newel post at the foot of the stairs.
Bella twitched but didn’t wake up.
“Dumb blonde,” I muttered.
Rosalie turned her head slowly, and her eyes were blazing.
“You. Got. Food. In. My. Hair.”
That did it.
I busted up. I pulled away from Bella so that I wouldn’t shake her, and laughed so hard that tears ran down my face. From behind the couch, I heard Alice’s tinkling laugh join in.
I wondered why Rosalie didn’t spring. I sort of expected it. But then I realized that my laughing had woken Bella up, though she’d slept right through the real noise.
“What’s so funny?” she mumbled.
“I got food in her hair,” I told her, chortling again.
“I’m not doing to forget this, dog,” Rosalie hissed.
“S’not so hard to erase a blonde’s memory,” I countered. “Just blow in her ear.”
“Get some new jokes,” she snapped.
