About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him-and I didn’t know how potent that part might be-that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

I love the part in Eclipse where Edward and Bella are in her room. Bella is emailing her mom, and she turns around and Edward is holding the stereo she ripped out of her car in New Moon. That little scene always makes me laugh, which is funny because Eclipse is my least favorite book out of the saga. I have a million more favorite parts, but that’s the only one I can think of right now.

It’s hard to choose just one but my top one’s are “before you Bella my life was like a moonless night….” from Edward. I also like Edward’s quotes in Midnight Sun “I could see how easy it would be to fall into loving Bella. It would be exactly like falling, effortless. Not letting myself love her was the opposite of falling-it was pulling myself up a cliff face, hand over hand, the task as grueling as if I had no more than mortal strength.” and also from Midnight Sun “Like a stalker, an obsessed stalker, like an obsessed vampire stalker.” And from favorite Bella quotes are “You are in trouble. Enormous trouble. Angry grizzly bears are going to look tame next to what is waiting for you at home.” And of from Eclipse my favorite quotes are “What did he do? He kiss me! I also liked when in breaking dawn when edward and bella are talkin about how she is ganna miss her friends and she said, “oh yes mike, oh how will i go on?!” lol and then edward growls love it haha
also in eclipse when edward wants to do what bella has wanted to do for a while but she doesnt want to haha

When you loved the one who was killing you, it left you no options. How could you run, how could you fight, when doing so would hurt that beloved one? @Jordan: I agree with you. One of the best lines in the entire series, one that brings tears to my eyes every time I read it, is: “Goodbye, Jacob, my brother…my son.” (Breaking Dawn, pg. 723)
I also like the scene from Eclipse (pg. 356)when Alice is trying to outsmart Edward so Bella can enjoy graduation. It begins with Bella speaking:
“Worrying about Alice?” I asked.
“Er…” He didn’t want to answer that.
“What was she thinking about, anyway? To keep you out, I mean.”
His eyes flashed down to my face, and narrowed in suspicion. “She was translating the Battle Hymn of the Republic into Arabic, actually. When she finished that, she moved on to Korean sign language.”
I laughed nervously. “I suppose that would keep her head busy enough.”

Apart from ALL the Edward/Bella scenes<3 I have two favorites and they’re both from Eclipse which is hands down, my favorite book.
#1: “No.” Jacob shook his head. “I’m exactly right for you, Bella. It would have been effortless for us — Comfortable, easy as breathing. I was the natural path your life would have taken…” He stared into space for a moment and I waited. “if the world was the way it was supposed to be. If there were no monsters and no magic.”

Eclipse Chapter 27 NEEDS - “Hand me that book, will you Edward?” (Withering Heights) I read the lines “IF ALL ELSE PERISHED, AND HE REMAINED, I SHOULD STILL CONTINUE TO BE; AND IF ALL ELSE REMAINED, AND HE WERE ANNIHILATED, THE UNIVERSE WOULD TURN TO A MIGHT STRANGER.” I know exactly what she means. AND I KNOW WHO I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT.”
He didn’t need the book. He pulled me closer and whispered in my ear, “I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT MY LIFE! I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT MY SOUL!” “YES,” I said quietly, “THAT’S MY POINT.”

We could love TOGETHER both active participants. I WAS ALWAYS GOING TO WANT MORE.

It was a strange feeling – not surprising, I supposed, since everything felt strange
now – this being a natural at something. As a human, I’d never been best at anything.
I was okay at dealing with Renee, but probably lots of people could have
done better; Phil seemed to be holding his own. I was a good student, but never
the top of the class. Obviously, I could be counted out of anything athletic. Not
artistic or musical, no particular talents to brag of. Nobody ever gave away a trophy
for reading books. After eighteen years of mediocrity, I was pretty used to being
average. I realized now that I’d long ago given up any aspirations of shining at
anything. I just did the best with what I had, never quite fitting into my world.
So this was really different. I was amazing now – to them and to myself. It was

I absolutely love every line in all of the books but one of my favorites is towards the end of New Moon when bella and Edward are reunited, and Bella thinks shes either dreaming or dead

For the record, I love this entire discussion and I’ve probably given it ENTIRELY too much time and thought, but here’s my two cents anyway, in no particular order…
1 – Eclipse) I like the part when they visit Rene and her take on their relationship - “There’s something… strange about the way you two are together. The way he watches you — it’s so… protective. Like he’s about to throw himself in front of a bullet to save you or something…The way you move — you orient yourself around him without even thinking about it. When he moves, even a little bit, you adjust your position at the same time. Like magnets… or gravity. You’re like a… satellite, or something.”
2) Ditto on all the Midnight Sun quotes so far. What an exciting revelation reading it was. There were so many sweet, almost behind-the-scenes moments I had no idea of…

Silently, I lifted my doggy bowl off the floor. Then, with a quick, powerful flip of my wrist, I threw it into the back of Blondie’s head so hard that—with an earsplitting bang—it smashed flat before it ricocheted across the room and snapped the round top piece off the thick newel post at the foot of the stairs.
Bella twitched but didn’t wake up.
“Dumb blonde,” I muttered.
Rosalie turned her head slowly, and her eyes were blazing.
“You. Got. Food. In. My. Hair.”
That did it.
I busted up. I pulled away from Bella so that I wouldn’t shake her, and laughed so hard that tears ran down my face. From behind the couch, I heard Alice’s tinkling laugh join in.
I wondered why Rosalie didn’t spring. I sort of expected it. But then I realized that my laughing had woken Bella up, though she’d slept right through the real noise.
“What’s so funny?” she mumbled.
“I got food in her hair,” I told her, chortling again.
“I’m not doing to forget this, dog,” Rosalie hissed.
“S’not so hard to erase a blonde’s memory,” I countered. “Just blow in her ear.”
“Get some new jokes,” she snapped.
