I think that if I was to pick favorites out of the four, I probably pick Eclipse.
There’s just something about it that I like a little more.
I’m in the middle of reading it again and I agree, there are some really great Edward/Bella moments.

I SOOOO hope David Slade gives us all the intense scenes between Bella and Edward that was in the book, and was LEFT OUT of NEW MOON. As a dedicated fan of Twilight I don’t want to see another (30 Days of Night, Blade, Interview with a Vampire, Underworld) the typical vampire movie, we have those. The fans who want that type of movie rent it. Just DO THE BOOK…..PLEASE. Don’t disguise Eclipse or Breaking Dawn and sacrifice a wonderful story you have a HUGE audience keep us happy. We will keep coming back for the emotional love story scenes. Remember the 47 second kissing scene leaked on U Tube, It got millions of hits. SHOW US THE LOVE…..
In New Moon The RECONCILIATION of Bella and Edward was one third of the end of the book. It should have had that same respect at the end of the movie. I was waiting for the emotional climax at the end of the movie, when they both reunite, with all the wonderful dialogue. I wanted to see the heat and hear the beautiful words on screen that Bella and Edward say to each other that was in the book, it explained the whole reason for his leaving and it sets up the story in Eclipse we could have used another 10-20 more minutes. In this regard I was left TEASED and UNSATISFIED wanting more. Chris Weitz and Melissa so dropped the ball on this. Eclipse was my favorite (Twilight is such a close second that sometimes both Eclipse and Twilight are my fav) so I have high hopes for this movie. I like this picture, and now I have a new background picture!

I LOVE the Twilight Saga as written by Stephenie Meyers. Twilight is a 21 century Love Story…please respect the character dynamics from the book and reflect it in the screen play and in the movie direction. IT’S BELLA AND EDWARD, NOT Bella and Jacob. You wouldn’t try and change Romeo and Juliet to Paris and Juliet, or Cathy and Heathcliff to Cathy and Edgar (Wuthering Heights), or Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy to Elizabeth and Mr. Fitzwilliam (Pride and Prejudice) great love stories. GIVE US THE EMOTIONAL connection between Bella and Edward again.

We were cheated in New Moon. It was beautifully shoot and grand but Bella and Edward’s reconciliation story was almost an after thought at the end of the movie; and in the book it was clearly one third of the story. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO FEELS THIS WAY. Summit please

It’s weird how we have absolutely nothing on what David is like as a director.

I didn’t like Catherine that much, I thougt she was a complete lunatic (but that’s in an indie/creative kinda way) and she did care about the books. I adore Chris because (and I disagree with Deb) he gave us much more than he really needed to in New Moon (it didn’t matter what he would have done pople would still see it), I loved New Moon.

But for David Slade there’s like nothing about Eclipse except for this gorgeous still and teaser poster.

I wonder when the teaser will be released?

Oh and also I think the reason Rob looksn so good is because he isn’t wering red lipstick.

Deb I agree with you 100%. I felt Robbed (lol Rob) in New Moon. I felt like Bella and Edward scenes were put on the back burner and not handled right. I was upset that one my favorite moments in Twilight history was like a min in the movie.(when they return from Italy…”Before you Bella …”)

Yes! YEs! The connection between Edward and Bella is what made me fall deeply in love with this series. I loved the way her talked to her. Always thought about her. Twilight is actually a love story period.
Of course I also love the Cullens (Emmett!!!!!) that is why I love the series also but Ed and Bella’s parts are so highly romantic and sweet. I hope David slade portrays that and I hope it is not full of action. Because they are trying to attract more guys. Most guys dont like the series and that is okay because most of them are not the romantic type and thats okay. We need the Edward and Bella scenes I cant express it enough. They are what made me love this series.
How long do you guys think Eclipse should be, I think it should be at least 3 hours…

I honestly feel the Edward/Bella scenes are boring. They don’t have much emotion. I’ll be looking forward to action scenes with the Volturi and Jacob scenes. =P
