Happy Birthday Edward Cullen!
Posted by Nicky • 91 Comments »

Our favorite sparkly vampire turns 109 today (June 20th, to be exact)! Yes, we all know he’s a fictional character but honestly, what’s wrong with having a little fun? A big congrats to Mr. Cullen from the staff and we’ll throw in a happy fathers day too!

Leave him some love in the comments.

Moviefone - Real Life Edward Cullens Speak Out
Posted by Kimmy • 8 Comments »

Moviefone spoke to some real life people who have the name Edward Cullen.

“It may come as a shock for some fans, but not every Edward Cullen can kill with his teeth, fly without a plane ticket or create such a fabulous coif. There’s a whole pack of real-life guys who share the character’s name — and manage their parallel reputations. As the saga’s third installment, ‘Eclipse,’ nears release (the film is set to arrive June 30), Moviefone looked to a handful of real Edward Cullens (via e-mail) to see what it’s like to be a mere mortal with a world-famous vampire’s name.”

Check out their interviews @ Moviefone.

Edward hopeful Jake Abel Bashes Twilight in Interview Magazine
Posted by Nicky • 57 Comments »

He’s one of the stars of the upcoming Percy Jackson film and also appeared in the Lovely Bones. I know him as the third Winchester brother in Supernatural :D

“Vampires are very sexy right now,” says 22-year-old Jake Abel. “It’s kind of disgusting. It’s kind of a bandwagon.” Nevertheless, if things had gone differently, the tall, strapping, blue-eyed Abel might have found himself at the center of the current Twilight-ignited storm of teenage-vampire mania: Abel actually auditioned to play Edward Cullen in Twilight (2008)—the part that would eventually go to Robert Pattinson.

17 Mag: Team Edward or Team Jacob?
Posted by Nicky • 88 Comments »

Seventeen Magazine asked a few fans and stars the age old question. Edward or Jacob?

Alright. I’ll just say it. I’m Team Edward. Wholeheartedly. Not one bit Team Jacob.

That being said, I do NOT want to see, nor will I tolerate, bashing in the comments. Just because I have no love for the furry one, does not mean it’s ok to hate. Same goes for the sparkly one. If you have nothing nice to say, then dont say it. Pretty simple. Bashers will be deleted without warning.

In the Volturi fight scene when Edward gets slammed into the ground his face cracks!

I think it’s quite nifty, what do you think? Since his face is “marble-like” and marble would crack!

Vampires are swarming like bats out of you-know-where, especially the mega-popular book-to-screen vamps of “Twilight,” “True Blood” and “The Vampire Diaries.” With more than 70 million books sold, Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” series is a full-fledged phenomenon, particularly among teens. The first “Twilight” movie adaptation grossed nearly $200 million in theaters last fall, which bodes well for next month’s sequel, “New Moon.” “True Blood,” based on Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse novels, completed its second season in September and is HBO’s second-most-watched series ever, behind The Sopranos. And more people watched the debut episode of CW’s “The Vampire Diaries” than any premiere in the network’s history.
