‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ | Fan Review Post

First things first, our (Kimmy & Nicky) Review:
‘Eclipse’ is very much a fan movie. It’s obvious that it was made for the fans and quite frankly, we find it hard to believe that anyone who considers themselves a twilighter can truly hate the movie. ‘Eclipse’ is special in that it even thought it aims to please the fanbase, it also works as a stand alone. We honestly think that people who haven’t read the books can enjoy it for what it is: a summer blockbuster.Director David Slade was able to create a movie that has much more action and fight sequences that the source material but is still nonetheless able to retain the essence of the book. The romance was amped up, which if we’re being honest, the first two movies sadly lacked. Edward and Bella finally looked like a couple. Constant hand holding, a kiss on the forehead, etc. Adorable. Even Jacob has his moments with Bella. The cast/crew really outdid themselves this time around. Everyone was amazing and no, we’re not being biased. We loved it, plain and simple. Our favorite of the three, hands down.
We don’t want this to be a huge review so we’ll just leave you with this. Take reviews (ours included) with a grain of salt. It would be ridiculous of us to pretend we don’t know about all the hate anything twilight related receives from the media. Why ruin YOUR experience of the movie by reading biased and sometimes completely hateful reviews that only serve to turn you off? Just go see the movie and be a fan for two hours. You’ll enjoy it a lot more.
So, for the lucky people that already saw it, what do you think? Do you agree/disagree with us? Leave your review in a comment below. You can rave about how much you love it or rant about how wrong the Jacob/Bella kiss was (cough). We’ll feature some of the best ones on this post. This post is officially spoiler land.
Stay away if you haven’t seen the movie!
