Vanity Fair Interviews Ashley Greene on the Set of Eclipse

What are you filming today?

There’s a lot of action in this [movie], a lot of fight-sequence choreography. Me, Nikki [Reed], and Kellan [Lutz] are working today, and we’re doing another installment of the fight sequences. We’re doing a section of the huge vampire/Cullen/wolf/newborn battle.

What’s it like working with different directors on the same character?

At first, it’s a little difficult; it’s a lot of give and take. Everyone’s different and has their own take on it, but it’s been pretty good. You have to sit down and go, “This is what I’ve been doing, this is why I feel this way,” and you have to take suggestions. Basically, it’s about communication, and it hasn’t been a problem yet.

Your role as Alice Cullen becomes more significant as the series continues. What was your experience filming New Moon?

It was incredible, and I think the timing was right. I’m glad that [my role] wasn’t that big in the first one because I was wide-eyed and nervous. By the second one, I had the time to fully develop this character, and I’m really comfortable with Alice Cullen now. It’s going to be sad to be done with it. I was really excited when I read the script because I had, of course, read the book and you never know how they’re going to translate it, how it’s going to read, and filming it was great. Chris [Weitz, the director] was awesome.

Michael Sheen talks to Parade
Posted by Nicky • 2 Comments »

The always charming and extremely talented Michael Sheen (Aro)
talks to Parade about New Moon, among other things:

“I was excited about being in New Moon mainly because I thought it would make my daughter Lily very happy since she loved the books and the first movie. But, she was a bit overwhelmed. It was like when I was kid–if there was something I was really into, the last thing I wanted was my mom and dad to be into it as well. So, at first, Lily got upset and sort of cried when I told her. I think it was just like her fantasy imaginative world suddenly colliding with reality. She did punish me a bit. When she kicked me, I think that was sort of acting out her frustration.”

Michael Sheen dishes on New Moon

If Michael Sheen isn’t doing something biographical, chances are it’s supernatural.
He has left his mark on the horror genre as Lucian, the leader of the werewolf rebellion against the aristocratic vampires in the Underworld trilogy.

But now he’s switching teams as Aro, the head of the Italian vampire cult known as the Volturi in New Moon, the latest big-screen chapter of the Twilight saga that opens Nov. 20.
Why join the bloodsuckers?

“I wanted to see how the other half lived,” Sheen explains with a grin. “Or unlived.”

Actually, Lily, his 10-year-old daughter with Underworld actress Kate Beckinsale, had something to do with his decision. “She is very, very into the books. I know how obsessive she was about them, so I was already predisposed wanting to be in it.”

After he read the first two books himself, Sheen realized why the literary phenom causes teen girls to swoon. “What it has tapped into, at least in the first book, is how it feels to fall in love for the first time. I don’t think you have to be a girl to relate to that.

Jamie talks New Moon

Jamie (Caius) was at the Sitges Film Festival recently and he spoke about his role in Deathly Hallows and New Moon:

Are you ready to face the phenomenon of fans as massive as the inherent ‘Twilight’?

“I’m prepared for anything, I’ll take it as it comes. In fact do not consider myself a celebrity and I do not understand what is going on. It is an honor that people want to take pictures with me and ask me for autographs, but for me it is incomprehensible. “

Pitchfork.Com spoke to St. Vincent about her track Rosyln alongside Bon Iver:

As fans of teenage vampire romance already well know, the forthcoming Twilight: New Moon is the second movie in the ridiculously popular Twilight trilogy. When the Twilight folks announced the tracklist for the soundtrack album, we did triple-takes. Thom Yorke! Death Cab! Grizzly Bear with Beach House’s Victoria Legrand! Bon Iver with St. Vincent! This is almost certainly the most Pitchfork-friendly teenage vampire romance soundtrack album of all time!
