THE PICTURES
- Yes, we’ve seen them. Of course we have. We’re NOT posting them. They’re leaks. Not only would we be supporting the illegal distribution of the pictures in question but honestly, we don’t want to get sued. People have been reporting C&D letters all over the interwebs and we quite frankly don’t want to deal with that. We posted the other two pictures that leaked a while ago only because we had an ok from Summit. Posting more than 15 leaked pictures is ridiculous. So please, no more emails. Our inbox is flooded and we’re beginning to lose stuff.

PRIZES
- I don’t want to give excuses but holy moly batman. If you’ve won a contest, rest assured that you will get your prize. It might take a while, but you will. Kimmy and I are both students. We manage not only hge, but 4 other websites as well. Add the fact that we procrastinate like there is no tomorrow and you have late, very late prizes. If you’ve won something and have not as of yet gotten it, drop us an email today and I’ll get to it. Food for thought: don’t be rude about it. We host contests on the site for other people as well so it’s not always our fault you haven’t gotten your prize. Sending us angry emails questioning our integrity and telling us we suck is not going to make us send out the prizes any faster. Just sayin’ (our email: hisgoldeneyes@gmail.com)

EMAILS
- Along with the leaked Eclipse pictures, we’ve gotten a sudden influx of emails addressed to the cast, to Stephenie and to us in hopes that we get them a part in the movie. We have no direct contact with any of the actors. We have no say whatsoever in the cast selection process. We are not Stephenie Meyer. I wish we could forward these to the people the messages were intended to but we have no way of doing that. Sorry. On another note, thank you to all the incredibly sweet people that send us emails telling us how much they love the site. I’m not tooting our own horn here but it’s nice. lol

2 Year HGE Anniversary/ 20K twitter Giveaway:
Erm…it was actually two days ago but still. YAY!! A hearty thank you from everyone here at HGE I also realize we put off the trivia for twitter but it’s because we’ve been planning some stuff out. Kimmy’s going to do a blog tv tomorrow and we’ll be giving out lots of stuff, including the twitter autograph, to celebrate both our 2 year birthday and reaching 20,000 followers on twitter. =D

Prizes:
Here’s the deal. It’s Christmas time. Sending things out right now, especially prizes, is pretty hectic. It might take a while before you actually get them. Also, we’re not always the distributors. We hold sponsored contests. It’s up for the company/organization to send them out to you guys. So please, don’t send us angry emails telling us we suck and how we should be ashamed of ourselves. It’s not always up to us.

Christmas Giveaways:
This is usually the time we would be doing the Christmas giveaways but both Kimmy and I got sidetracked by finals and what not. Long story short, we’re obviously not doing them during Christmas but we’re thinking of making a new years countdown? 10 days of daily prizes counting down to 2010.

FanFiction Fridays:
I changed up the format so that I could put up a few more at a time. Do you guys prefer one or should I stick to five at a time? I also got rid of my review but a few of you commented that you want it back. So, my lovely fellow fanfiction readers, do I stick to the old format or do like the new one better? I’m also thinking of starting a fanfic community on FF.net with all the recs. Not sure yet, but i’ll keep you updated.

I just wanted to thank Mag and Gina so much for working with such tight schedule for these shoes. They are absolutely gorgeous and they capture HisGoldenEyes so wonderfully. Mag really has a gift! Thank you so much, I love them!

We have the most amazing opportunity to attend the New Moon premiere on Monday in Los Angeles, and interview the stars on the red carpet! Kimmy will be there, partnered with our friend Andrew from Twilight Source. We will be interviewing the whole cast, so please send in your questions in the comments! Your question might be asked.

Try to be original and come up with things they haven’t been asked before. I know they’ve been questioned SO much it’ll be difficult but try to be creative.

For some reason, a couple of you (I wont say any names, but you know who you are) have ‘taken over’ the comments here at HGE. Not appreciated, AT ALL. Comments are there so fans can interact with each other about their opinion on that specific post.

I just looked through the birthday post and over 80 comments were completely unrelated to Bella’s B-Day and some were people just being plain rude to others. That’s not gonna pass guys. So, starting today, a few new rules will be put into action.

• THE HGE COMMENTS ARE NOT A CHAT ROOM. Please stay on topic (the post you are commenting on). I dont need to hear about what you did that day nor do I want to see you talking back and forth about it to another individual. Seriously.
• Everyone has the right to like/dislike a character. Not everyone loves Edward and not everybody hates Jacob. Deal with it.
• BASHING WILL BE HANDLED BY THE ADMINS. Please, we beg, don’t take it upon yourself to confront bashers. If no one is around to delete their comments, just ignore them.

IF I CATCH ANYONE BREAKING THESE RULES, I WILL DELETE YOUR COMMENTS.
I don’t like doing this but things are getting out of hand. Some of you are literally scaring people away and that’s not the type of environment we want. So yeah.
