MTV: ‘Eclipse’ Fashion Week Day Two- Edward & Jacob Tees
Posted by Nim • 3 Comments »

In today’s installment of “Eclipse Fashion Week,” we’ll be highlighting a look that has been proven to stir up some controversy even among the closest of friends. Mixing clothes and men can never be a good thing among the ladies, but we’re going to take our chances!

DANIELLE: First off, I have to say that personally I would pick Edward over Jacob any day. I mean come on, who doesn’t love a sexy British accent? As you can see in the pic, I’m rocking the “I Heart Edward” plaid boyfriend tee in maroon ($30), and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

JANICE: Danielle, you should really join me over in Taycob land! I’m sure I can gather up another Camp Jacob v-neck tee ($30) for you if you want to join. Sure, RPattz might have a cute British accent, but haven’t you noticed that Taylor Lautner is officially a man? Don’t you remember that one scene from “New Moon” where he walks shirtless in the rain? Yeah, I think that’s enough to make you switch over to my team!

MTV: Exclusive Peek At Nordstrom’s ‘Eclipse’ Inspired Collection
Posted by Nim • 6 Comments »

Two of my favorite vintage tees that can either be dressed up or dressed down depending on the occasion. First up is the “Necklace” racer tank in moonmist ($28) — a personal favorite of mine! This affordable tee will look great paired with skinny jeans and boots for a night out with the girls, or with some comfy leggings on a lazy Saturday when you find yourself parked in front of your TiVo.

The “Newborns” burnout v-neck tee ($30) makes a statement on the front, which might give away your secret Stephenie Meyer obsession to the world, but a real woman shouldn’t be afraid to strut what she loves in public. In the MTV News office, I personally loved wearing the tee with my black suit jacket. A quick change into my leather jacket a 6 p.m., and I was ready to meet for drinks after a long day.

MTV: Exclusive Preview of Robert Pattinson Comic Book
Posted by Nim • 6 Comments »

Back in February, we told you about that “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson would receive his own comic book biography, following on the heels of such notable pop-culture celebrities as Lady GaGa, “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling, Michael Jackson, and even his “Twilight” co-star, Kristen Stewart.

Hitting shelves at the end of May, “Fame: Robert Pattinson” is the latest in Bluewater Productions’ popular line of bio-comics. The 32-page comic promises to “trace Pattinson’s career from his first performance in Tess of the D’Urbervilles at London’s Barnes Theatre to his star turn in the Twilight movies,” and features a script by Kim Sherman and interior art by Nathaniel Ooten.

Teen Vogue Wants To Know: Would You Wear Bella’s Engagement Ring?
Posted by Nim • 36 Comments »

Would you accept a Twilight-inspired engagement ring?

Sure, Twilight’s Bella and Edward have a union worth emulating, but is purchasing a band inspired by the film, going too far? One company doesn’t think so. Co-designed by Twilight author Stephanie Meyer, Infinite Jewelry & Co is now selling a replica of the engagement ring Edward gives Bella in the Eclipse trailer. The ring, which comes in gold or silver, is available in different versions and price points on Infinite Jewelry & Co’s site. You can purchase a costume version of the ring for $35 or a finer version for $479. But the genuine diamond version, intended to serve as an actual engagement ring, is selling for almost $2000. We’re as obsessed with Bella and Edward as the next Twi-Hard, but we’re not sure we would be able to accept an engagement ring inspired by any film. Would you?
