There are spoilers! My spoiler button won't work when I use it so I'm just warning you now!

I watched this last night (but on my computer) and I'm thinking it's a lot scarier in the movie theater and that whole environment because I thought it was stupid. (I guess I also saw the original ending bc it was pretty stupid, in my opinion) It only really got "scary" towards the end. Maybe even the last 15 minutes. Like other people said, it had a lot of potential to be scary. It just wasn't. For me atleast. Maybe it's because I watched it in my dorm and was doing other things at the same time? I was freaked out by the ouja board though! I wish they did more stuff like that other than footsteps and bangs and door slams. The first 30 minutes of the movie weren't really anything though. It was just her talking about it. I'm glad I didn't spend money to go see it. If you want to see what all of the hype is about, but don't want to get super scared, I would recommend watching it online or something first because it might be more scarier in theaters.

I watched it yesterday! Can I say! People exagerrated when they said it was
scary!
I can't believe I watched it. It was plain dumb, boring, not scary.
It wasn't worth my time.
The good thing is I didn't have to waste my money on it.

Honestly... the scariest movie I have everrrrr seen. I watched it, what, three weeks ago now? and I can barely sleep at night. I sleep with all my lights on. Micah made everything so much better though, because he was so funny.

Hmm really? Yea I don't see the point of a second one either lol It'll probably just be the same stuff happening to someone else.

This movie was not scary at all. The ending was the only good part of the movie.
I hope there isn't a second movie if it is anything like the first one it will suck :/

I haven't watched it yet...but i'm thinking too!
I heard that it cost only like 11.000 to 12.000$ because there are only two people in it, in a house, in a room! but made the same profits with 2012!
I also heard that the movie was shot at 2006 but no one wanted to put it on screen and that Spielberg tried to watch it alone at his house but got scared and turned the TV off!
So, idk! I would like to watch it! It intrigues me...not its story but peoples reactions to it!

^ehh really? wow.
Like most people, i only found the ending scary, but i DID like it! but probally only because i believe in all that stuff and know people with similar things(not all the outrageous stuff) Like i went and saw it with my sisters(big mistake) and they were complainging that it wasnt scary and crap and im like "chill out, theres more to a movie then just scaring the hell outta you" but i did find alot of stuff very fake and i thought it was quite stupid that they tried to play it off as a real story. And i also think they blew off some things way to easy like the ouji board

My parents rented this last night, we just saw it
 honestly. I expected this to be at least some-what terrifying.
My friend said that her mom saw it and was freaked out
Her mom apparently never freaks out over things...
my other friend who hardley scares over things had nightmares from it...
another one of my friends still refuses to sleep with a closed door...
Yeah...whatever

I thought the movie was entertaining, but not at all scary.
I mean...I didn't scream at all during the movie, I think I jumped once but it was not an over dramatic one
Even my mother was able to sit through it and she's the wimp of the family
She was the one who couldn't sit through A Haunting in Connecticut.
I thought Micah was funny, lol

I got scared during the movie.
Not the scariest movie ever, but definitely not a total worthless piece of crap either.
I think if you'd watch this at night in the dark by yourself... Hmm. :horrified:

But the ending was so stupid I forgot about all the scary bits almost immediately.
Whenever I see a REALLY scary movie I'm almost too afraid to get up and look behind me but this was like... laaame.

So basically I liked it, but it wasn't the best ever made.

spoiler!

Someone thought it would be GREAT to watch this at the very abandoned rooftop of our friend's condo at night, with all the lights off. Needless to say, we shat our pants XD

I didn't know there were two endings though, and at first I seriously believed it was a true story @.@ *gullible*

The first ending I saw while at the rooftop was the one where she was shot and just rocked back at forth, creepy. I then dragged BF to watch it at the cinema and was expecting the same ending when BAM she goes all fcking crazy and throws Micah :| I screamed XD
