So, the other day i was shopping with my mum and we come across a man she knew and say hi to him.
Later she told me his story.
I thought stories like that take place only on the cinema...
Obviously I was wrong.
He used to be (like 3 decades ago) a teacher in my Grandparent's village.
He got sick and fell into a coma and some lame, idiot doctor declared him....Dead!
In the middle of the funeral inside the church among his family and friends and people who knew him, he stands up and sit down in the coffin.
You can imagine the horror.
I mean seriously....1 hour later he would be 6 feet under earth.
I shiver only by thinking it.

Mine isn't so much a random fact as a really amazing story -

I think I've told most of the people on here that I work in a fabric shop, and today we got this woman in who is restoring a dress for someone. This dress was made by a woman in a Japanese POW camp during the second world war, and in order to protect it, she sewed it into her bedding and slept on it for three years, then upon her release, she wore it to a reception in Malta.

The dress was later pretty much ruined by her daughter, who (for reasons the woman didn't go into) chopped off the whole top of the dress to use it for something else.

Yeah, I was just generally amazed by this.
