I don't think they conformed at all.
"Pretty.Odd" was a complete change in a different direction then their older stuff.
Personally, I do prefer the older stuff, but I don't think the new stuff is bad, or a copy or what is already out there.
I think it is different than most stuff.
I am curious to hear new stuff without the missing band members...

I just checked out "New Perspective".
I don't really like it.
It is totally poppy and not as good.
NOW, I will say they conformed.
